ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm so happy you came on over to my blog ☺︎. Here I will share with you about my life, my love for our savior Jesus, the outdoors, homeschooling, family and friends, my fiancé, photography I've done, and so much more! >>
My name is Alexis, and I am a girl living in a small town in the good old U.S.A. I have been homeschooled my whole life, and I absolutely love it! It has been very rewarding, and has allowed me to spend time with my family while receiving my education. It has taught me so much being able to stay to home to learn, and my mama has done an amazing job of teaching my siblings and I. I am the oldest of three kids, and my friends call me the "mom" of our group. The name is rightly so. I seriously am just like my mom...and that is not a bad thing. She has taught me responsibility, how to care for a family, how to take care of a home, how to run a business, and just all about life. Both of my parents taught me to love Jesus, as they both do, and I came to know Christ at a young age. I started to love writing ever since my parents gave me a small journal when I was a little girl. I wrote prayer requests in the journal. Then fast forward a couple years later and I started to keep a daily journal, and have been since! And I have filled quite a few journals haha. Writing has always been my way of keeping record of things I don't ever want to forget, and my escape from the busyness of this world.
So here's a little bit more about me...
this year I graduated high school and got engaged! I literally do not know where the time went. It feels like just yesterday that I was starting my first day of kindergarten. Fortunately, since I was homeschooled, I didn't have to be away from my family during school hours. For 9 years, it was just my sister, Bella, and I as the kids in the home. We've always been buddies and very close. Then, when I was 11 and my sister was 9, our little brother Noah was born. He was a surprise baby. At first, I wasn't very fond of the idea of having a little brother, but the Lord changed my heart the day I met Noah. Now Noah is 7, and he loves to get into my sister and I's things and do crazy 7-year-old stuff! But, really I don't know where I'd be without either of my siblings. I love them so much, as I do my parents. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm thankful for my family. They are definitely one of the biggest blessings in my life, as is my loving fiancé.
One of the things I really enjoy doing is spending time outside. Whether it be reading my Bible out on the swing, or talking a walk through the woods, I love to be outside. I also LOVE to be with my grandparents, my family, my fiancé, and my friends.

Cooking and baking are also of interest to me. I like getting to cook a nice dinner for my family, or bake up something delicious when I get the time ☺︎.
Something really special to me is when I get to wake up early and see the sunrise while I drink my iced coffee. Yes, gotta love my iced coffee. I don't care if it's freezing cold outside, you'll still find me drinking my coffee iced.

Other things I love are bike riding, hiking, listening to music, taking pictures, gardening, fall time, and just the little things about life.

I hope that you'll enjoy reading about where I am in life, and I pray that I will always point the glory to the One who deserves it all: Jesus Christ.
