A word from Bella:
I decided to do a devotional on friendship because just recently I developed some wonderful true friendships and strengthened some old friendships! And, I wanted to share some verses from the Bible to see what God says about friendships. The first one is found in John 15:13 it says: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." This is a wonderful example of how our attitudes should be in a friendship. Even though nobody is perfect we should always strive to be a Godly example to friends who aren’t saved. Another great friendship verse is Proverbs 18:24 it says: "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." I hope these words from God inspired you :). My new and old friends have showed me true love and kindness, and sometimes they didn’t even know they helped me through the problems that I was facing. I really just want to thank them for everything and thank God for bringing them into my life. My besties you know who you are :) and I love all of you dearly ❤️
A word from Lexi:
You never know who God will bring into your life and for what reason. God is full of wonder and mystery. My first best friend is my sister Bella. God has blessed me with a close relationship to her, and I am so thankful for it. I even have close relationships with my cousins whom I also consider my best friends! My best friend of all, though, would have to be my boyfriend Asa, who has been there with me through so much already! I feel like I have known him forever! Little does he know that he's helped me grow so much closer to the Lord and to my family. I am forever grateful for him, and I will always love him no matter what. The Lord has brought so many different people into my life and I thank Him for each and every one of them! I hope I can always continue to be there for my friends just as they are always there for me. My friends don't know how much they have helped me by just being there for me to listen or give advice on things. God has used these people in my life to mold me into the person that I am. I pray that I can do the same for them.
